Looking for new ways to learn and grow alongside your child? Our seasoned Educators have specially designed a wide variety of Take Home Learning Kits for children aged 18 months to 6 years old, that are sure to create fresh learning experiences at home. We have included popular topics like Toilet Learning, Mindfulness Practices, Music & Movement, Transportation, Early Literacy, STEAM and much more.

Ontario Parks Pass

Thanks to OPCC’s commercial, Ontario Parks Pass, you and your family are now able to discover the beauty of all Ontario’s Provincial Parks for free! Ontario Parks offers over 330 protected natural wonders across the province for an unparalleled outdoor experience that you are your children are sure to love.

Get started by checking out one of our passes to gain day-use entry. This pass covers one vehicle and its passengers for the day, allowing you to enjoy quality time outdoors with your family amidst the breathtaking landscapes.

Borrowing Guidelines

How to Sign Out an Item: You will need an OPCC Family Membership to borrow our items.

Once you have created an account, sign in and following the steps:

  • "Sign Out an Early Learning at Home Item"
  • Under "Please Select Resource" either type "Kit' or "Ontario Pass", and make your selection.
  • Click on "Checkout" and follow instructions.

How Many Items you can Borrow: Members can borrow up to 2 items at a time for a 2 week lending period, starting from the time you requested the item online. Be sure to pickup the kit as soon as you can so you can enjoy it.

Where to Pick Up and Return your Item: All Items can be picked up and dropped back off at our main location, at 461 North Service Rd. West Unit 17, Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Allow 15 mins to pick up and return your items. If you are returning or borrowing a kit on the weekend, drop off or pick up would be pushed to the following Monday. All items are sanitized upon return.

Missing or Broken Items: Members are responsible for replacement or repair of the items they have signed out. A parts list is available in each resource kit for your reference. If items are missing or broken, please inform the our Administrative staff when returning the items. At the time of pick up, you will be required to provide us with a credit card for our files. Your credit card will only be charged if an item is missing or broken.

Go on a Wait List: You can place your name on the online waiting list for kits that are currently in use/unavailable.

You will need to sign into your account, and go to:

  • "Sign Out an Early Learning at Home Item"
  • Click on “Go on the Wait List”
