Bear Kit
Let’s celebrate Family Day together! Oakville Parent Child Centre is offering families a free fun filled Bear Kit, which includes:
- a stuffed teddy bear
- supplies and folding instructions for bear origami, bear collage crafts, story sequencing
- video link for interactive Going On a Bear Hunt song
- lacing card
- bear snack ideas for kids
- and more!
Quantities are limited, and registration is required to secure your kit.

Nature Mobile
Are you looking for a creative way to get outside with your family this Family Day? Join OPCC’s Outdoor Education Specialist Angela and her friends in this video to learn about an activity that is a nature walk, scavenger hunt and art project all in one!
Together, we’ll learn how to make a Nature Mobile that we can enjoy all year long.
Registration is not required.
Heart Mural: Collaborative Art Project
This is your invitation to COLLABORATE! Let’s come together to work towards creating our very own OPCC masterpiece. This is a great opportunity to engage in creative expression, to build a sense of belonging, to foster co-operation and most importantly have fun!
Instructions on how to complete the art project and how to submit your child's artwork for the mural will be sent out to all families who sign up shortly after registration.
Unlimited participation is available, however registration is required in order to receive the instructions.
